Ahmedabad, Jamnagar and Porbandar Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Ahmedabad – Local Sightseeing

On arrival in Ahmedabad, transfer to the hotel and check in. Later, proceed to visit Sabarmati Ashram and Adalaj Stepwell. In the evening, visit Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar and enjoy the Light and Sound Show. Return to Ahmedabad for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Ahmedabad – Statue of Unity – Ahmedabad

After breakfast, drive to the Statue of Unity (approximately 200 kilometers). Visit the Viewing Gallery, Exhibition Hall, Audio Visual Gallery, Valley of Flowers, and Sardar Sarovar Dam Viewpoint. In the evening, enjoy the Laser Show. Later, return to Ahmedabad for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Ahmedabad – Jamnagar – Dwarka

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Dwarka. En route, visit Lakhota Lake and Bala Hanuman Temple in Jamnagar. On arrival in Dwarka, check in to the hotel. In the evening, visit the Dwarkadhish Temple and explore the local market. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dwarka.

Day 4

Dwarka Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in Dwarka. Visit Dwarkadhish Temple and take a holy dip in the Gomti River. Later, visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Gopi Talav, Bet Dwarka (accessible by boat), and Rukmini Devi Temple. In the evening, visit other coastal temples and attend the evening aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath

After breakfast, check out and drive to Somnath. En route, stop at Porbandar to visit Kirti Mandir (birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi) and Sudama Temple. On arrival in Somnath, check in to the hotel. Visit Bhalka Tirth and attend the evening aarti at Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva. Later, enjoy the Light and Sound Show. Overnight stay at the hotel in Somnath.

Day 6

Somnath – Diu

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Diu. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Visit Diu Fort, Diu Museum, and St. Paul’s Church. Enjoy beach time and beach activities at Nagoa Beach. Overnight stay at the hotel in Diu.

Day 7

Diu – Sasan Gir

After breakfast, drive to Sasan Gir and check in to the hotel. Enjoy the Gir National Park safari to see the Asiatic Lion. Choose between the Gir Jungle Trail (Jeep Safari) or the Devaliya Safari (Bus Safari). Safari permits should be booked in advance. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Sasan Gir.

Day 8

Sasan Gir – Virpur – Gondal – Ahmedabad (Departure)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Ahmedabad. En route, visit Jalaram Temple at Virpur and Swaminarayan Temple, Naulakha Palace, and the Vintage Car Museum in Gondal. Continue the drive to Ahmedabad for drop-off at the airport or railway station.
